#SOS Anti-racism, Gender and Justice is a network of academic-activists from Canada, the USA, Mexico and Guatemala working together on socially committed research to contribute to thinking about racism and the multiple exclusions which characterize multicultural societies in Latin America. Through different textual strategies ranging from academic articles to articles in the press, radio programs and multimedia productions, we aim to contribute to public debate on issues such as the lack of access to justice for indigenous peoples and other marginalized sectors, state violence and impunity, institutionalized racism and sexism and the importance of different resistance movements. The network aims to build transnational collaboration between academic and political spaces and to share the outputs of these dialogues amongst a broad public.
